You can’t help but wonder if Beyonce would’ve filmed another video this year if that ‘Telephone’ mini-movie had not reached cult status.

Just when we thought Sasha Fierce had been bled dry, here comes B releasing a track that was once only available on the deluxe edition of I Am… Sasha Fierce.

‘Why Don’t You Love Me?’ had gone #1 on the US Billboard Dance Charts last month after her label put out a 12-track remix EP for the track.

Now, with a video shot and raring to go, the world might have another Beyonce single on the radio.

Meanwhile, here’s why ‘Why Don’t You Love Me?’ is one of the best music videos we’ve seen this year:

1) The lack of product placements

Wow. Is this what it’s like to watch a music video without close ups of products and brands in your face every 30 seconds?

2) B. B. Homemaker

Let’s assume Beyonce wasn’t inspired by this photo shoot Kelly Rowland did earlier in the year.

We all love vintage fashion and pin-up girls. But while Beyonce looks cute as ever playing B.B. Homemaker, my favourite look is B.B. the chain-smoking desperate housewife.

This could’ve been on Mad Men for all I know.

Kudos to acclaimed music video director Melina for really capturing that 60s suburbia feel.

3) Dusting the Grammys.

Done as only a true diva housewife can.
