Leak Report: Stan Walker ‘Light It Up’ feat. Static Revenger
by David
Mate, don’t let me down with this one.
Snaps where snaps are due, Stan Walker served a killer in his last single ‘Loud’ – an energetic dance/pop number with a hook that could generate revenue in a million commercials. The single has been certified platinum sales in Australia after four months, where it managed to reach a peak of #9. Needless to say there’s a fair bit of pressure to follow this one with something just as captivating.
Cue ‘Light It Up’ – a frenetic pop piece that could easily go on Chris Brown or Jason Derulo‘s latest albums. The track is produced by Static Revenger – the man best known for ‘I Like That’ with Richard Vission and Luciana (an Australian Top 3 smash last year) and for doing Wynter Gordon‘s breakthrough mix tape The Trouble with Wynter.
Take a listen to a snippet of Stan Walker‘s new single ‘Light It Up’:
That dance breakdown could easily go head to head with Havana Brown‘s ‘We Run The Night’. Somebody make it happen.
Footnotes:
Stan Walker will release ‘Light It Up’ to Aussie radios on Monday with a digital release set for 16 September.
