To all the fine, respectable bitches who regularly eyeball Feed Limmy and join me in pop music banter, I’m sorry.
Some of you might’ve noticed that it has been weeks since my last post. As much as I’d like to blame the Chezzanator for spending my last steam for blogging, it has really come down to much deeper and personal reasons.
I’ve had multiple posts drafted and lined up in the last two weeks but I couldn’t bring myself to finish them.
So it is with great sadness that I finally face the facts and announce a break from Feed Limmy.
Much love to the subscribers, commenters and friends on Twitter/Facebook, and my comrades in the pop music blogosphere who have supported me and embraced me at any point along the way.
It was a pleasure being considered part of the game.
Who knows, I might fire this up again with renewed passion after my holiday in July.
But if there’s one thing I can share, it’s that, if you’ve been so committed to a particular passion for so many years – there comes a time where you need to force yourself to explore other options.
For instance, I’ve been pursuing pop music bloggestry (as Feed Limmy) for over two years, been making radio for five years, and stood firm as a J.Lo apologiser for over 10 years.
My writing has evolved for the better throughout the life span of Feed Limmy thus far and I’ll always be proud to call this my shit.
So here’s to the future. Love and kisses like the Dannii single!
