I am such a child of the MTV era [Editor's note: back when MTV was literally just Music Television].
Growing up, I’ve always had this fascination with pop music videos and as the years go by – with high school media lessons as my basis – this fascination developed into a fervent appetite to deconstruct visuals every time I see it.
Of course, not every music video that come my way will be teeming with visual extravagance, clever concepts and stylistic references but here at Feed Limmy, I like to think that I give props where props are due – no matter how great or small the budget may be.
Over the years some of my reviews have been picked up by the artists, their respective PR reps, and even directors, and I have received some lovely ‘thank you’ emails in my inbox.
